Edaran Otomobil Nasional Berhad (EON) has opened the first Smart 3S Centre in Malaysia, the EON Smart Glenmarie. With a built-up area of 4,362 sq ft, the facility’s showroom is capable of showcasing up to three display cars. The dealership also includes a customer lounge equipped with a cafe area, discussion lounge, free Wi-Fi, as well as a dedicated kid’s room.
The aftersales service area spans 3,716 sq ft with four service bays, including two for service and repair, one for high voltage service, and one for wheel alignment.
Also available are eight dedicated customer parking spaces, two AC chargers, which can deliver a maximum charging rate of 22 kW and one DC charger which can deliver a maximum charging rate of 60 kW.
Operating hours for the EON Smart Glenmarie showroom are from Monday to Saturday, from 8:30 AM to 5:30 PM, and on Sundays and public holidays from 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM. Service hours are Monday to Friday from 8:30 AM to 5:30 PM, Saturday from 8:30 AM to 1:00 PM, and closed on Sundays and public holidays.

EON, which is a wholly subsidiary of DRB-Hicom Berhad, invested almost RM4 million in the EON Smart Glenmarie dealership, marking its entry into the electric vehicle (EV) market.
The company has also just launched its very first EV, the Smart #1 in Malaysia earlier this week. Priced from RM189,000 to RM249,000, the Tesla-fighter is offered in three variants, namely the Pro, Premium, and Brabus.
The very first customer delivery of the new Smart #1 EV has also taken place during the opening ceremony of the new EON Smart Glenmarie 3S centre.
EON Chief Executive Officer and DRB-Hicom Head of Automotive Distribution, Akkbar Danial said, “We anticipate our smart 3S dealership will play a pivotal role in meeting the rising demand for Smart #1 and making a significant impact on the local EV market”.
