Tesla Malaysia has launched 2 of its supercharging locations, and a new location has been sighted in Sunway Pyramid, Petaling Jaya. So far, Tesla Malaysia has lifted two charging locations in Petaling Jaya, with the second one yet to be confirmed.
The Tesla Supercharger at Sunway Pyramid is located outdoors, near the main entrance with the landmark Lion Head referred to as “Victor”. There are 4 charging bays at the Sunway Pyramid Supercharger location, and they are all connected to fast chargers which could be able to do 250 kW DC charging.
Based on the specifications written on the superchargers, they appear to be V3 superchargers. They are the same ones found at the already-launched Pavilion Kuala Lumpur Supercharger and the Sunway Big Box Supercharger in Johor. The specifications state that the charger has a rated voltage of 1000 V (DC) and a rated current of 425 A.
Like the Tesla superchargers launched in Pavilion Kuala Lumpur and Sunway Big Box Johor, the Tesla Superchargers at Sunway Pyramid exclusive for Tesla cars only. This can be seen by the writings on the bays themselves.

If the charging rates at the Tesla Supercharger in Sunway Pyramid were to follow the rates at the previously-launched locations, it should amount to RM1.25/kWh with idle fees that cost RM 4 per minute. Tesla Malaysia also appears to be setting up a supercharging station at the newly-launched Pavilion Damansara Heights.
