First introduced on the Model Y L, Tesla Malaysia has now made the new Zen Grey interior available across the entire Model Y lineup here on our shores. The new Zen Grey interior upholstery colour will replace the previous Black and White option, and is also a RM5,000 extra cost option.
Compared to the prior option, the new Zen Grey hue has a slightly darker tint, but more importantly also offers more coverage across the interior particularly on the centre console and door card armrests, as seen in the photos below.
Nevertheless, they are still made out of vegan leather, and are paired to the same black headliner as per the latest model update launched earlier this year. The update also saw the introduction of a larger 16-inch screen, now standard across the range, alongside a new eight-inch touchscreen behind the centre console for the second-row passengers.
Elsewhere, the optional 20-inch “Helix 2.0” wheels, which are a RM10,000 option, also now get a darker tint compared to the previous silver finish.

The Model Y L is now available for viewing at all Tesla Experience Centres nationwide (Cyberjaya, Pavilion Damansara Heights, Gurney Plaza), and will also be on show at several pop-ups across the country, including Pavilion Kuala Lumpur (until 12 April), The Gardens (19 April), Mid Valley Southkey JB (19 April), as well as Setia City Mall.
