Over in Thailand, the Isuzu D-Max has been given a facelift, with the workhorse truck now sporting a sleeker-looking front end. In Thailand, the D-Max is offered in single-cab and double-cab configurations with the former sporting one variant and the latter sporting 3 variants. Prices in Thailand start from THB917,000 (approx. RM116,714) and go up to THB1,257,000 (approx. RM1,257,000).
Updates to the Isuzu D-Max include:

Overall, the Isuzu D-Max facelift is 15 mm longer and 5 kg heavier. It now measures 5,280 mm long, 1,870 mm wide, and 1,810 mm tall. Its wheelbase measures 3,125 mm long and ground clearance is rated at 240 mm.
Inside, the Isuzu D-Max facelift now comes with paddle shifters for the automatic versions. Another addition to the cabin is the new display for the climbing and turning angles. As for everything else, the D-Max facelift comes equipped with either a 7-inch or 9-inch head unit (depending on the variant), Apple CarPlay and Android Auto connectivity, and full-speed range adaptive cruise control in the 6-speed automatic models.

As for powertrain, the Isuzu D-Max is offered with both 1.9-litre turbodiesel and 3.0-litre turbodiesel options. The 3.0-litre turbodiesel engine makes 190 hp and 450 Nm and can be paired with either a 6-speed manual or a 6-speed automatic transmission.
The 1.9-litre turbodiesel engine makes 150 hp and 350 Nm and can be paired with both manual and automatic transmission options. Depending on the variant, the Isuzu D-Max is equipped with a part-time 4WD system.
In Malaysia, the Isuzu D-Max is currently offered in its outgoing version. Versions of the D-Max offered in Malaysia include the Single Cab, Standard, Auto Plus, Premium, and X-Terrain. Prices range from RM94,949 for the Single Cab 1.9 to RM150,938 for the X-Terrain.
