Bentley will soon be discontinuing its signature W12 engine, but luckily, one of the last cars you can buy with that engine is now here in Malaysia. Say hello to the 2023 Bentley Continental GT Speed.
In this configuration, the iconic 6.0-litre twin-turbocharged W12 mill pushes out 659 hp and an incredible 900 Nm of torque. Even on such a heavy grand tourer, that still translates to a century sprint time of just 3.6 seconds, onward to a top speed of 335 km/h.
Power is sent to all four wheels via an eight-speed dual-clutch gearbox, and for the first time ever on a Bentley, there’s also an electronic limited-slip differential on the rear axle to maximise traction coming out of corners.
Damping on the Bentley Continental GT Speed is handled by a three-chamber air suspension system, and is also paired to a 48V anti-roll system that delivers up to 1,300 Nm of force on the chassis to counteract body roll in the corners.
Bentley says that all of these systems are all specifically tuned for the Speed to extract the utmost performance out of the car on track, making it the sportiest road-going model in the carmaker’s 101-year history.

As for looks, subtlety is the name of the game here, with the Speed only being marked out by a dark-tinted front grille and lower bumper mesh, sportier side skirts, and extra Speed badging on the front fender.
Though, as usual with all other Bentley cars, you’ll be able to customise the Continental GT Speed to your own liking with a myriad of options, including a Blackline Specification Package that adds an extra aggressive edge to its exterior.
Speaking of options, the one thing that should just be made standard is the Bentley Rotating Display, which lets you flip between a 12.3-inch touchscreen infotainment display, a three-gauge dial panel, or plain veneer, depending on your mood.
