Volkswagen Passenger Cars Malaysia (VPCM) announced today that the price of the Volkswagen Tiguan Allspace Life will be adjusted to RM160,590.68 (OTR without insurance). It is now RM 13,000 cheaper than the RM173,590 price tag upon introduction in Malaysia. The new price is immediately effective and is applicable for deliveries from January 2023 onwards.
Specs-wise, the Volkswagen Tiguan Allspace Life remains unchanged, still offering the same 1.4-litre TSI engine that makes 150 hp (metric) and 250 Nm. The same 6-speed DSG transmission is also in use. Like before, the Tiguan Allspace Life is the most basic variant of the Tiguan Allspace.
On the outside, the Tiguan Allspace Life is offered in five colour options, namely Atlantic Blue, Oryx White, Pyrite Silver, Platinum Grey, and Deep Black. The ‘Frankfurt Alloy Wheels’ are 18 inches in size and are wrapped in 235/55R18 tyres.
At the front, the Tiguan Allspace Life gets a set of full LED headlights with cornering function and all-weather lights. It also has LED daytime running lights and the front grille gets a lighted illuminated strip.
Inside the Tiguan Allspace Life gets ‘Life’ fabric upholstery, 3-zone electronic climate control, and a 9.2-inch touchscreen infotainment unit that supports wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay. The instrument cluster is also of the digital kind. The dashboard and front door trim panels are decorated with Horizon Black inserts.

Safety-wise, the Tiguan Allspace Life comes with Lane Assist with a lane keeping system, a rearview camera with front and rear parking sensors, tyre pressure load indicator, brake auto hold function, cruise control and speed limiter, driver alert system, and 6 airbags. It still doesn’t come equipped with a full suite of Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS).
Also unchanged is the warranty and free maintenance package of the Volkswagen Tiguan Allspace Life. Included in the new RM160,590.68 price tag (OTR without insurance) is a 3-year free maintenance package, a 5-year/unlimited mileage warranty, and a 5-year roadside assistance package.
