In case you weren’t aware, our co-founder Dom is a dad now. Although, with baby Alexia being born during the pandemic, she unfortunately hasn’t had the opportunity to see much of the outside world just yet. Now that the nation has mostly re-opened, though, a road trip seems like the perfect idea.
And what do you know, such an opportunity for a road trip just so happens to present itself, as we’ve been invited to attend the MIGFEST camping festival at the Hooton Retreat at Jelebu. And to make the trip all that more comfortable, Mitsubishi Motors Malaysia also loaned us an Xpander – perfect when you need to basically pack half of your house along for the baby.
So… what it’s like camping with a baby? Check out Dom’s experience in the video below!
While the Mitsubishi Xpander isn’t the sports car of Dom’s dreams, it’s at lest still red, and if you ask his wife, it was the perfect car for the trip thanks to its flexible seating patterns and ample storage space.
The Mitsubishi Xpander is powered by a 1.5-litre 4-cylinder naturally-aspirated engine, making 105 hp and 141 Nm. The engine is paired to a four-speed automatic gearbox to send drive to the front wheels.
The model was recently given another update in Thailand recently, with a new CVT gearbox, and a refreshed exterior design. Expect to see it in Malaysia very soon!
