Setel, the mobile payment platform for Petronas, has introduced a suite of new auto assistance features into the mobile app, connecting its users directly to a wide range of different auto service providers in the event of a vehicle emergency.
These features include battery replacements, vehicle jump-start, tyre replacement, emergency refuelling assistance (in case you run out of fuel on the road), vehicle unlock (in case you lock yourself out of your own car), and vehicle towing.
The new auto assistance features are supported by Bateriku.com, Setel’s first partner for the initiative. Just as if you are buying fuel, Setel users using the new auto assistance features will also be able to automatically earn Mesra points, which can then be later used to redeem fuel and other rewards.
