Sime Darby Auto ConneXion (SDAC), the sole distributor for Ford in Malaysia, will be previewing the recently-unveiled next-generation Ford Ranger as it goes on tour around Malaysia.
Starting with Penang, the all-new Ford Ranger will be displayed at Centre Court of Queensbay Mall from today until August 8, between 10:30 am to 10:30 pm daily.
Following Penang, the Ford Ranger will also be making its way to Johor, Sabah, and Sarawak. The schedule for the Ford Ranger tour in Malaysia is:
- 3-7 August – Queensbay Mall, Penang
- 10-14 August – Toppen Shopping Mall, Johor Bahru
- 7-11 September – Vivacity Megamall, Kuching
- 5-9 October – Suria Sabah Shopping Centre, Kota Kinabalu
Additionally, those who have received exclusive invitations will also get to attend the official unveiling ceremony on 3 August from 10.30-11.30 am. They will also be taken through an in-depth presentation on the next-generation Ranger.

Now built on the third generation of the T6 platform, the all-new Ford Ranger will be offered here in Malaysia in 7 variants including the XL, XLT, XLT Plus, and Wildtrak. SDAC has only teased the Ranger Raptor for now and will be officially launching the Baja racing-inspired truck in Malaysia in Q4 2022.
