After 13 years of steadfast service, the Perodua Alza is finally getting a brand-new replacement model in 2022, with the all-new seven-seater MPV making its official debut today. Based on the Toyota Avanza, the all-new 2022 Perodua Alza will be offered in three variants here in Malaysia, starting from RM62,500 for the entry-level X variant, moving up to RM68,000 for the H, and at the very top is the AV variant priced at RM75,500.

Although the all-new 2022 Perodua Alza shares most of its styling with touches with its Toyota counterpart, it does get a couple of unique touches on the outside, including a vanity grille up front with chrome detailing, as well as exclusive bumper designs – the latter with Perodua’s signature X-shaped motif up front.

built atop the Daihatsu New Global Architecture (DNGA) which also underpins the Ativa, The second-generation Perodua Alza also now larger than the outgoing model across all dimensions, measuring 205 mm longer (4,425 mm), 35 mm wider (1,730 mm), up to 50 mm taller (1,660 mm for the X variant, 1,670 mm for H and AV due to larger wheels), with a 5 mm taller ground clearance for the AV variant at 160 mm.
