In an effort to simplify the shopping experience for new tyres, Goodyear Malaysia recently launched its own official online stores on both Lazada and Shopee, the two most popular e-commerce platform in Malaysia.
The new online stores will offer customers a variety of major tyre patterns and sizes to choose from, ranging from Goodyear’s Assurance family to their Eagle family of tyres.
“We know online purchasing [is a] rising trend among Malaysians, more so as the trend expands to major industries since the start of the pandemic. People are also looking for a one-stop solution for all their needs online,” said Goodyear Malaysia Managing Director, Alex Ng.
“With our e-commerce official stores, we can deliver quality purchasing experience and tyres to our customers. Not only that, all tyres purchased online are entitled with a 5-Year Limited Warranty while some selected tyre patterns come with Goodyear’s Worry Free Assurance (WFA) coverage.”
To further aid customers in the new purchasing experience, Goodyear Malaysia also implemented a detailed step-by-step guide on their online stores to help buyers determine the best tyres for their cars.
“We understand that usually the purchase tyres is usually done in store, however in line with constant evolution, we hope to provide as much information as possible for a more informed choice,” Ng added.
To purchase Goodyear tyres online, all you need to do is follow the steps below:
- Goodyear Shopee Mall
- Select the tyres and check out.
- Confirm the appointment with selected Goodyear Autocare Center (GYAC).
- Present the order details at Goodyear Autocare Center.
- Install tyres at the selected GYAC and click order received button.
- Goodyear Lazada Flagship Mall
- Select the tyres and check out.
- Confirm the appointment with selected Goodyear Autocare Center (GYAC).
- View coupon(s) in Lazada Wallet.
- Redeem the coupon at the selected GYAC.
Purchases from Goodyear Lazada Flagship Store and Shopee Mall can be redeemed at all Goodyear Auto Care Centres within Peninsula Malaysia at the moment, with plans to expand to East Malaysia in the near future. The nearest GYAC can be found on Goodyear Malaysia’s website, linked here.
To celebrate the launch, the company will be offering customers who shop on the Goodyear Shopee Mall store a RM8 voucher when they follow the store, as well as exclusive gifts including a Temperature Retention Flask for the purchase of two tyres, and a set of stylish toolkit box for the purchase of any four tyres.
As for Goodyear Lazada Flagship Mall, customers will be entitled to an online exclusive Goodyear Gift set worth RM150 for any purchase of four tyres. Customers will also receive a Goodyear umbrella for purchases of any two tyres. The online exclusive promotion runs from now until the 15th of March 2022, while stock lasts.
