Mazda set to expand SUV line up (again) this 8th of March, with all-new CX-60

If you remember our post from last October, Mazda announced that it will soon launch five new SUVs – the CX-50, CX-60, CX-70, CX-80, CX-90 – with production set to begin as early as 2022.

Shortly after officially revealing one of the six – the 2023 Mazda CX-50 – for the American market, another video surfaced online; revealing quite a lot of the new CX-60.

Now, Mazda has taken to YouTube to announce the imminent arrival of the new CX-60, due to be launched globally one month from now, on the 8th of March 2022.

As you can tell from the cameo appearance of the CX-60, much of the exterior remains largely similar to the CX-5 and CX-9 we have locally except for minor differences to the headlamp design, slightly different front bumper, and additional details on the side fenders.

Like the facelift Mazda CX-5 revealed in September last year, the CX-60 also features body-coloured fenders and skirting.

The new range of SUVs will feature a rear-wheel drive powertrain layout, with six-cylinder petrol and diesel engines available.
