Mitsubishi brings back Ralliart with new Triton and Pajero Sport special editions in Thailand

Ralliart is back! Well, sort of. As announced six months ago, Mitsubishi will be bringing back its iconic rally racing nameplate for a range of special edition models alongside actual motorsports activities – and the first part of the equation has now come to fruition with a trio of Ralliart edition models for the Mitsubishi Triton and Pajero Sport in Thailand.

Starting with the Mitsubishi Triton, the Ralliart special edition will be offered exclusively on the 2WD low-rider variant, on both single- and double-cab body styles. That means the Ralliart Edition will be equipped with a 128 hp and 240 Nm 2.5-litre turbodiesel mill, paired to a five-speed manual gearbox.

In terms of Ralliart exclusives, the new special edition model comes as standard with 16-inch blacked-out wheels, blacked-out wing mirror covers and door handles, red mud flaps, alongside Ralliart bumper garnishes, unique decals, bed liner, and a set of Ralliart floor mats for the cabin.

The range of accessories is also mirrored on the Mitsubishi Pajero Sport Ralliart Edition, offered solely on the more affordable 2.4 GT Plus variant. To bring home the whole sportiness theme, the Ralliart special editions also get a blacked-out Dynamic Shield grille, black roof, darkened headlight housings, as well as a gloss black roof spoiler on the Pajero Sport.

As is standard on special edition models, the Ralliart Edition will only be available in a limited range of exterior colour choices. Two here in particular – White Diamond and Jet Black Mica. Pricing information for the trio aren’t available just yet, but should be announced soon when they make their debut at the upcoming Thailand International Motor Expo.

Will you be open to a Ralliart Edition Mitsubishi Triton here in Malaysia, or is it just “yet another special edition”? Either way, it’s good to see Ralliart back in the limelight, and we can’t wait to see them fully sending it around the sand dunes very soon!
