All-new Ford Ranger to be fully revealed on Nov 24th

After a few teaser shots of it in action, the rear and even roaming the streets of Thailand, Ford Asia Pacific has finally “booked our timing” to witness the global reveal of the all-new Ford Ranger.

The world premiere digital broadcast even, to be hosted in Melbourne, Australia, will be broadcast live on the Ford Australia Youtube channel (here) from 6:00 P.M. local time on November 24th.

In an accompanying statement, Ford has reimagined, redesigned and reengineered the Ranger to be the smartest, most versatile and most capable Ranger ever for customers in more than 180 markets around the world. Ford conducted more than 5,000 interviews and worked with hundreds of pick-up owners, in dozens of workshops across the globe to find out how owners used their trucks, what they liked, what they wished it had and what experiences mattered the most to them.

We will have to wait until November 24th for more details, but from the initial impression, it looks like the new Ranger has plenty of resemblance to the compact Maverick pick-up truck that is only available in North America.

As for powertrain options, expect the latest 2.0-litre Biturbo (213 hp, 500 Nm) paired with a 10-speed automatic to be available, while rumours of an electrified unit also persist.
