Updated BMW M135i xDrive now with better handling and new colour!

BMW in Germany has introduced an improved version of the M135i xDrive that was launched in Malaysia last year with improved performance and a more engaging driving experience.

The improved M135i xDrive now comes with better cornering dynamics from optimised wheel alignment, along with dampers and springs which have been further fine-tuned.

The camber on the front wheels have been optimised for better absorption of lateral forces. The M135i xDrive also gets a new hydromount to attach the front wishbones, while the mounts for the trailing and control arms at the rear axle have also been redesigned. The result is reduced body roll and improved steering response.

Engine and exhaust noises pumped into the cabin through the audio system have also been retuned. From heavy acceleration to lifting off the throttle, the different distinct engine notes and exhaust burbles allow the driver to feel more engaged with the car.

Also new are the Sao Paulo Yellow non-metallic, Frozen Orange, and Frozen Pure Grey colours for the m135i xDrive, created by BMW Individual.

Output remains the same at 306 hp and 450 Nm from a 2.0-litre turbocharged 4-cylinder engine, paired to an 8-speed automatic gearbox. 0 to 100 km/h is done in a brisk 4.3 seconds while top speed is limited to 250 km/h.

The local specification M135i xDrive is equipped with M goodies such as M Sport suspension and brakes, M Sport spoiler, steering and even seat belts!
