The Rolls-Royce Dawn Silver Bullet is the ultimate coastal drives machine for the wealthy

Imagine yourself as a multi-billionaire cruising down the coastal roads of Cote d’Azur, breathing in the cool sea breeze and soaking up the warm sun rays with your roof down. What do you see yourself in? A Lexus LC500 Convertible? That’s a great choice, but what you really need is this, the Rolls-Royce Dawn Silver Bullet.

The Dawn Silver Bullet is Rolls-Royce’s latest limited-run production model from the company’s client-commissioned Collection Cars line, transforming the four-seater drophead Dawn into a two-seater roadster with the addition of a new rakish Aero Cowling over the rear seats, finished with vapour-blasted titanium.

Inspired by its glamorous roadsters from the 1920s, Rolls-Royce says that the Silver Bullet is a “contemporary interpretation of the classic roadster spirit and driving experience, offering committed drivers a sublime blend of serenity and sophistication with an exhilarating sense of uncompromised freedom.”

Even the paint job – ultra-metallic Brewster Silver – is a nod to the special Rolls-Royce cars of old, such as the Silver Dawn, Silver King, Silver Silence and Silver Spectre, contrasted by subtle black trims.

Inside, the Dawn Silver Bullet features an open-pore carbon fibre dashboard, along with a quilted leather-wrapped centre console which the company says is inspired by leather jackets, the “quintessentially rebellious fashion accessory”. The Silver Dawn will, of course, be hand-built in Goodwood, England.

We still don’t know what’s underneath the hood of the Rolls-Royce Dawn Silver Bullet, but it’ll most likely be powered by the same 6.6-litre turbocharged V12 engine from the regular Dawn. In the Black Badge form, the Dawn makes 601 hp and 840 Nm of torque.

Only 50 units of the Rolls-Royce Dawn Silver Bullet will ever be built, which means the ultimate top down experience will only be reserved to the most elite few in the world. Well, at least the “regular” millionaires can still have the LC500.
