BMW Malaysia has launched the new M8 Coupe, priced at RM 1,452,960.88. Alongside the M8 Coupe, BMW also launched the M8 Gran Coupe, priced at RM1,455,145.25.
Under the hood is the most powerful variant of BMW’s V8 engine with a redline of 7,200 rpm. The engine comes with special engine mounting for a more rigid connection with the vehicle structure. This results in even crisper engine and steering response.
The new M8 Coupe comes with BMW’s xDrive all-wheel drive system with a rear-bias setup. Drivers can select either the default 4WD setting or 4WD Sport mode, which channels more power to the rear wheels. Deactivating the Dynamic Stability Control (DSC) switches the M8 Coupe into 2WD mode. With the optional M Driver’s Package, the M8 Coupe is capable of hitting a 305 km/h top speed.

EXTERIOR
The new BMW M8 Coupe comes with M Adaptive suspension and M Compound six-pot caliper brakes as standard. As an alternative, the new BMW M8 is also available with optional M carbon-ceramic brakes. Perhaps the most distinctive feature of the M8 Coupe’s exterior is the double-bubble contour of its carbon fibre-reinforced plastic (CFRP) roof.

The M8 Coupe also comes with an M Sport exhaust with a Sound Control button next to the gear selector lever to allow drivers to adjust the sound of the vehicle according to their personal preference. The first ever M8 Coupé is available in Alpine White, Brands Hatch Grey, Marina Bay Blue, Motegi Red, Black Sapphire, Donington Grey and Barcelona Blue.
INTERIOR
Inside the M8 is adorn with M sport seats, M-specific gear knob and M seat belts. The M Sport seats come with electric adjustments with memory function. The seats are upholstered with Marino leather while carbon fibre trims are standard.

In the centre console, the M8 Coupe also features an M Mode button which allows drivers to activate “ROAD” and SPORT” settings to alter the driver assistance systems and the information shown in the instrument cluster and Head-up display.
