Next up in the ranks of car brands releasing revised price lists after Sales Tax Exemption today is BMW Group Malaysia with the updated prices for BMW and MINI models. The new price list will be in effect starting Monday the 15th of June to the 31st of December 2020, thanks to the government’s short-term economy recovery plan which sees a 100% sales tax exemption on locally-assembled cars and 50% on imported units.
BMW Malaysia Price List after Sales Tax Exemption:
BMW Malaysia’s latest releases, the 840i Gran Coupe M Sport and X6 xDrive40i M Sport – both CBU models – received sizeable reductions in price at 3.2% (RM31,388.77) and 3.5% (RM25,852.61) respectively. Meanwhile, the CKD 320i Sport and 330i M Sport models are now priced 2.8% (RM7,005.60) and 2.6% (RM7612.52) lower respectively.
MINI Malaysia Price List after Sales Tax Exemption:
As for MINI, the limited-run Countryman Blackheath Edition gets a RM9,607.62 reduction in price, the same as the Countryman Sports which it is based on. The new JCW Clubman and Countryman are now 3.7% cheaper, which accounts for RM13,390.18 and RM13,997.27 respectively.
