Edaran Tan Chong Motor (ETCM), the distributor of Nissan vehicles in Malaysia, has announced that all of its Nissan showrooms in the country have resumed operations, following the commencement of the Conditional Movement Control Order (CMCO).

In compliance with the new standard operating procedure (SOP) during the CMCO period as set-out by the Ministry of Health, all Nissan showrooms will be adhering to new operating hours. The showrooms will also strictly enforce hygienic measures, such as temperature screening for all customers and staff and social distancing practices.

All staff will be wearing face masks, while face masks, gloves, and hand sanitisers will be freely available to customers. Disinfection of touch points at the premises, including display and test drive vehicles, will also be carried out daily.

The company has previously announced that its Tan Chong Ekspres Auto Servis (TCEAS) service centres have recommenced operations since 10 April. All customer vehicles will be disinfected before and after their service. During this period, the company also encourages the use of contactless payment methods.

The full list of showrooms and their operating hours can be found on Nissan’s website here. Customers who wish to make an appointment for vehicle servicing can do so via the DriveOn mobile application, or through the TCEAS website here.

For customers who prefer to minimise contact during this period of time, ETCM has also recently launched the Nissan Online Showroom where they can submit and enquiry or request for a test drive with just a few clicks. A Nissan sales representative will be in contact within 24 hours.

In conjunction of the upcoming Hari Raya festivities, ETCM has also announced its Raya promotion campaign, offering attractive instalment packages with monthly repayments starting from RM800, as well as free two-year Periodic Maintenance Service package and other bonuses on selected models. The full list can be found in the table below:

Additionally, customers who purchase a Nissan X-Trail or Serena S-Hybrid between 1 May to 30 June will also receive a complimentary 1-year FWD Protect Direct Family Takaful protection plan with a sum insured of up to RM100,000.

Lastly, 20 lucky customers will take home additional Cuckoo Healthy Home Appliances worth up to RM128,888 as part of the Nissan Buy & Win Contest, eligible in the same contest period.
