Motor Image Subaru, exclusive distributor of Subaru vehicles across eight countries in Asia, recently gave us preview on the striking new Forester GT in Singapore following the local launch of the new SUV and the introduction of the XV GT in Malaysia.

The GT Edition of the Forester was created in close collaboration with Giken Co. Ltd. and Mr. Masahiko “Jack” Kobayashi, former Chief Designer at Subaru Corporation who was responsible for the design of more than 12 Subaru production models including the WRX STI.

The Forest GT focuses only on aesthetics without any mechanical upgrades where the aero kit consists of a front bumper extension, side skirts, a roof spoiler and rear bumper extension.

The GT Edition also comes exclusively with a bespoke set of 18-inch alloy wheels. On the inside, a new two-tone seat design is the only difference in the GT from the standard model.

The new Subaru Forester GT Edition will make its first public appearance at the Taipei International Auto Show in December 2019, followed by the Singapore Motorshow in January 2020, the Bangkok International Motor Show in March 2020 and the Manila International Auto Show in April 2020. Subsequent market launches will be announced later.
