Edaran Tan Chong Motor (ETCM) has introduced two new trim packages – the X-Tremer and Aero Edition for the new Nissan X-Trail line up. The new visual packages will be available on all variants of the seven-seater SUV.
The X-Tremer is the more extravagant of the two, offered in three two-tone exterior colour options – Imperial Red, Brilliant White or Tungsten Silver, all paired to a black roof, roof racks, and rear spoiler.

The all-black colour scheme extends to the V-motion grille cladding, TOMEI front and rear bumpers, side skirts, wing mirrors and the 10-spoke 17-inch alloy wheels.
The Aero Edition also gets the TOMEI aerokit, but finished in a silver paint job for a “sporty and elegant” appearance. The gloss-black 17-inch alloy wheels from the X-Tremer is also available on the Aero Edition.

The Aero Edition Nissan X-Trail will be available in Diamond Black, Imperial Umber, and Titanium Olive – all in single-tone only.
On the inside, both packages will come with brown Nappa leather seats, along with leatherette dashboard, knee pads, and arm rests.

The Nissan X-Trail is currently available in four variants; The 2.0L 2WD and 2.0L 2WD MID is powered by a two-litre four-cylinder engine generating 144 hp and 200 Nm of torque. A higher-powered 2.5-litre four-cylinder engine is available with the 2.5L 4WD variant, producing 171 hp and 233 Nm of torque to all four wheels.
A hybrid variant of the X-Trail is also available, powered by the same two-litre engine and paired to an electronic motor. Combined output of the hybrid powertrain is rated at 185 hp and 360 Nm of torque. All variants feature a X-Tronic CVT gearbox with 7-Speed Manual Mode.

The Nissan X-Trail comes with a 5-year unlimited mileage warranty that includes the HEV components and HEV lithium-ion battery. The new factory-fitted package accessories come with a 3-year/100,000 km warranty.
As for pricing, the X-Tremer package costs an additional RM7,000, while the Nissan X-Trail with the Aero Edition package comes in at RM5,000 on top of the retail price. The full pricing details can be found in the table below:
