Proton, together with their dealer-partner Harapan Maju Sdn. Bhd. has just opened the doors to their new 3S centre in Kota Kinabalu. The new 3S centre will be the second outlet in Kota Kinabalu to be dressed with Proton’s new corporate identity.
The new outlet houses 12 servicing bays with 6 hoists, and a 50-car capacity parking lot in its 1,686 square metre built-up area. Other amenities such as free WiFi, coffee bar, laptop charging area, kid’s play room and prayer room are also available to the patrons.
Harapan Maju is a new addition to the Proton dealership line-up. Bucking the industry trend, Harapan Maju is led by a team of women, involved in the daily operations of the business – overseeing sales, service and marketing.
Proton’s Chief Executive Officer, Dr. Li Chunrong said, “We are delighted that many are taking up Proton dealerships. The fact that they are happy to be associated with the brand says a lot about the future of the company.” This new opening brings the total number of Proton certified 3S and 4S centres to 103.
Year-to-date, Proton sales in the East Malaysia region has grown by 22% compared to the same period last year. Sabah in particular has seen immense growth at 32%.
The new Proton 3S centre is located at Mile 6, Jalan Putatan, Kota Kinabalu 88200.
