Volvo Car Malaysia (VCM) today opened the doors to the new Volvo 3S centre in Mutiara Damansara in partnership with dealer-partner Ingress Swede Automobile Sdn. Bhd. (Ingress Swede).
The opening of the new 3S (sales, service and spare parts) centre aims to strengthen the foothold of Volvo in the Damansara suburbs.
Officiated by the Minister of Domestic Trade and Consumer Affairs Datuk Seri Saifuddin Nasution bin Ismail, the Volvo 3S Mutiara Damansara is designed according to Volvo’s new retail standards — the Volvo Retail Experience (VRE).
Inside the Scandinavian-inspired building is a spacious showroom showcasing Volvo’s latest cars including the XC40 and S90, as well as 6 servicing bays to cater to general servicing needs of Volvo owners around the region.
In line with their new transformation strategy, Volvo Car Malaysia has been focusing on expanding it’s retail presence, and have reached 12 locations across the nation with the opening of the new Volvo 3S Centre in Mutiara Damansara. VCM is looking to unveil a further three more locations within this year.
Volvo Car Malaysia’s Managing Director Mr. Nalin Jain, said, “In the premium segment, the product is not the sole factor in the consumer’s purchase decision. What’s equally important is the value, quality and accessibility of services that they can enjoy throughout their journey with the brand.”
The transformation strategy carried out by VCM has seen significant results, as they has just reported a 60% year-on-year growth in the first half of 2019. Volvo is expected to continue the positive cadence into the last quarter of the year, supplemented by new products in the pipelines.
The new Volvo 3S Centre in Mutiara Damansara is located at 10 Jalan PJU 7/3, Mutiara Damansara, 47800 Petaling Jaya, Selangor.
The Showroom will be open from 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM from Monday to Saturday, and 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM on Sundays; vehicle servicing services will be available from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM from Monday to Friday, and 8:00 AM to 12:30 PM on Saturdays.
