This is the world’s first (converted) Tesla pick-up truck!

Her name is Simone Giertz, and having been sick of waiting for Tesla to build a truck, decided to take it upon herself to do so.

Known for quirky experiments and builds on her YouTube channel with all things electronics and robots, Simone even gave the truck a name – fittingly called the “Truckla”.

What’s even crazier is that the Model 3 was not even sponsored by Tesla, she actually bought the car with the absurd intention to cut it up and literally “bastardise” it.

To ease the pain of taking the fully electric car, she even keyed the “Truckla” name across the tailgate – something which was immensely difficult to watch!

Do not for a second think that it’s a botch job though; everything from weight distribution to chassis/structural rigidity was taken into account. Check out the 30 minute video above and witness what they had to endure to accomplish the project!

Regularly spend countless hours online looking at cars and parts I can't afford to buy. How a car makes you feel behind the wheel should be more important than the brand it represents - unless resale value is your thing.
