Proton introduces new Insurance Programme with six panel insurers

Proton has introduced the Proton Insurance Programme (PIP) for new and existing Proton owners where they’ll be able to insure their cars with six of the company’s panel insurers; at all authorised Proton dealerships nationwide.

The panel of insurers include Allianz General Insurance, Zurich General Insurance, Liberty General Insurance, AmGeneral Insurance, Etiqa General Takaful and Zurich General Takaful.

The facelift Proton Iriz launched in April.

Proton owners who opt for or renew their insurance with PIP would be eligible for a free key replacement up to RM1,000 in the event of theft, RM1,000 flood relief allowance, coverage for all permanent driving license holders above 21 years old and personal coverage of up to RM15,000 for private car owners.

PIP also offers a waiver of betterment costs for up to 10 years with the requirement that the car is repaired at authorised Proton centres and an agreed value coverage that guarantees a full reimbursement of the sum amount insured for the first 12 years, in the case of theft or total loss.
