The Proton Persona facelift is the second model in the brand’s current range to be updated since our national carmaker formed a new collaboration with Geely. Now that the refreshed sedan has made its official debut, let Eu Jin take you for a closer look.
Unlike its sporty hatchback twin, Proton says that it has given the Persona a more family-friendly styling and that direction is also apparent in the cabin with a grey headliner (as opposed to black on the Iriz) and a seat design similar to what you’ll find in the X70 Standard 2WD.
Proton says over 303 components have been revised to give the family sedan improved NVH, build quality, drivability and fuel consumption. As we’ve experienced the car on Proton’s private test track prior to the official launch, the improvements are apparent the moment you set off.
