The new facelifted Proton Persona is available in four variants – Standard MT at RM42,600, Standard CVT at RM44,600, Executive CVT at RM49,600 and Premium CVT at RM54,600.
All models are equipped with the same 1.6-litre engine paired to either a 5-speed manual or a CVT gearbox, making 109 hp and 150 Nm.
Like the new facelifted Iriz, the Persona gets new front and rear bumper design, along with a new 15-inch wheel design wrapped in 185/55 tyres. Similar to the Iriz, the Persona only gets halogen headlamps with LED daytime running lights exclusive to the Executive and Premium variants.
Also exclusive to the Premium and Executive variants are the follow me home headlamp function, power folding side mirrors and remote trunk release.
On the inside, only the Premium and Executive variants get the multifunction steering wheel, although infamous GKUI voice command system is only available for the Premium variant.
Features such as TFT multi info display, push start button with smart entry, anti-trap driver window and 60:40 split folding rear seats are only available in the top two variants.
Only the Premium variant gets six airbags while other safety systems offered are similar to the Iriz including Electronic Stability Assist, Traction Control, Hill Hold Assist and Reverse Camera with Dynamic Lines.
