Video: Honda HR-V facelift First Look in Malaysia

With over 3,000 units delivered and more orders waiting to be fulfilled, the Honda HR-V facelift proves that it still has some appeal to having buyers looking its way. Here’s Eu Jin bringing you on a closer look of the refreshed SUV.

With four variants on offer, including a Hybrid option, the refreshed HR-V is competitively priced between RM108,800 to RM124,800 against rivals of the same segment. The non-hybrid HR-Vs are powered by a 1.8-litre four-cylinder SOHC i-VTEC and CVT combo developing 142 hp & 172 Nm of torque.

The HR-V Hybrid is equipped with the Sport Hybrid i-DCD system that pairs a 1.5-litre naturally DOHC i-VTEC engine (132 hp/156 Nm) with an electric motor (29.5 hp/160 Nm) to give a combined output of 152 hp and 190 Nm of twist. Transmission of choice is a 7-speed dual clutch transmission driving the front wheels.
