Turns out the Honda HR-V facelift is quite popular among Malaysians



Despite having a delayed and fairly quiet launch, the Honda HR-V facelift is receiving positive response among buyers since its official launch in January 2019. To date, Honda Malaysia has delivered over 3,000 units of the compact SUV out of the 4,000 bookings collected.

Based on internal findings, Klang Valley contributed the highest sales at 47%, proving the HR-V’s popularity among buyers in the urban cities. Southern and Northern region each make up 18% of total sales.

Honda HR-V 1.8L RS

The newly introduced Passion Red Pearl, which is exclusive to the range-topping HR-V RS variant, appears to the most popular colour choice, representing 28% of overall sales for the facelifted HR-V.

To recap, the Honda HR-V facelift is offered in four-variants – 1.8L E, 1.8L V, 1.8L RS and 1.5L Hybrid. Prices ranges from RM108,800 to RM124,800 on-the-road without insurance. Every purchase comes with a 5-Years Unlimited Mileage Warranty while the hybrid battery pack comes with an 8-Years Unlimited Mileage Warranty.
