Mitsubishi Motors Corporation (MMC) has just revealed the new Triton at a global launch in Bangkok, Thailand and judging from these pictures, it’ll no doubt be one of the most good-looking pick-ups when it arrives in Malaysia.
We are expecting it to be available as early as Q1 of next year after its preview at the Kuala Lumpur International Motor Show (KLIMS) 2018 but we’ll just have to wait for the announcements at the show. For those aching for a closer look, you know where to be!
Word is that the 4×4 models will be available first before the 4×2 models make its way to Malaysia. Exact details on its availability should be announced at KLIMS.
The new Triton features a more sleek yet aggressive new look with more profound, flared arches along with a comprehensive list of driver assistance systems.
Although power output, as it stands, is identical to the current model in Malaysia with 181 hp and 430 Nm of torque, a new 6-speed automatic gearbox replaces the 5-speed unit used at the moment.
