What do you think of this Lexus ES dressed in TRD F Sport Parts?

Toyota Racing Development (TRD), the in-house tuning division for Toyota and Lexus models has just released new F Sport Parts for the newly launched Lexus ES sedan. While the kit is called F Sport, it is designed entirely by the guys at TRD.

Starting from the exterior, the ES now comes with extended front splitters, aerodynamics side mirror covers, side skirts, sports diffuser and sports muffler with quad exit layout. TRD has also introduced new lightweight forged aluminium alloy wheel options measuring at 19- and 20-inch in diameter. The former weighs 9.3 kg per wheel and is shod with 235/45 profile rubbers while the larger wheel tips the scale at 12.2 kg per wheel, wrapped in 245/35 profile tyres on all corners.

The tuning house claims that the aero kit and new wheels add to the sedan’s high-speed stability and handling yet maintains the ES’ supple ride comfort. The sports mufflers also add a sportier character to the cars exhaust note.

Items that are not apparent to the naked eye include a set of TRD Member Brace that introduces a more consistent load holding capabilities as well as improved ride comfort. TRD recommends the Member Brace to be installed with the forged aluminium wheel for maximum effect.

In Japan, the Aerodynamics Package (all exterior bits) retails for ¥636,000 (RM23k) while the alloy wheels will set you back at ¥652,000 (RM24k) and ¥512,000 (RM18k) for the 19-inch items. Lastly, the TRD Member Brace is priced at ¥95,000 (RM3.5k).
