McLaren 720S vs Porsche 911 GT2 RS in a drag race – Who do you think won?

We know them both as blindingly quick supercars, we know that they’ve got atomic levels of power under those hoods on paper, but how do they fare when pitted against each other in reality?

Motorsport Magazine recently shared a 45 second clip to show who’s the real boss between the McLaren 720S and the Porsche 911 GT2 RS, in a 1000 metre drag race.

On one end of the ring, you have the McLaren 720S that makes 720 hp and 770 Nm of torque while the most powerful road-legal 911 ever made is armed with 700 hp and 750 Nm. 0 to 100 km/h in the McLaren takes a disturbing 2.9 seconds while the Porsche does it 0.1 second quicker.
