Previewed at the 2017 Malaysia Auto Show that took place in November last year, UMW Toyota Motor caused a massive stir when they announced that the Harrier would finally be officially imported into Malaysia, with deliveries set to begin in early 2018.

With non-turbocharged and hybrid models available through grey importers, UMW Toyota Motor had decided to bring in the new 2.0-litre turbocharged Harrier, combined with a 6-speed automatic transmission; offered in two variants – Luxury and Premium.

Word is that the waiting time for the Harrier has exceeded beyond what most would consider an acceptable duration so we took it upon ourselves to find out what exactly is so appealing about this RM 259,900 Luxury-spec Harrier.
