This Range Rover lookalike is actually a Zotye T800, from China

Renderings of the new Zotye T800 due to be launched in China next year has surfaced and its resemblance with the Range Rover is shamelessly uncanny.

According to CarNewsChina.com, the T800 will be the new flagship SUV powered by two engine options – a 2.0-litre turbocharged unit producing 200 hp and a 2.0-litre turbocharged hybrid with around 250 hp.

The T800 will be positioned above the Zotye SR9, the Porsche Macan clone and will presumably replace the current outgoing T700. The T800 will only cost approximately 180,000 yuan (RM 112k).

Zotye had recently come to terms with Ford in a joint venture to build electric cars in China under a new brand. Volvo, now under the ownership of Geely had also announced that their first ever full electric car will be made in China.
