Visually, the Myvi looks nothing like before thanks to a new upper body design penned completely by local designers and engineers at Perodua. As standard, all variants get LED reflector headlamps, LED combination taillamps, 14-inch alloys and acoustic windshield. The higher end 1.5-litre variants get additional skirting, two-tone bumpers, a rear spoiler and 15-inch alloys.
On all variants, you’ll find four-speakers, fabric seats, keyless entry/start, height adjustment for the driver’s seat, an anti-snatch hook, a built-in toll reader (1.5 only) and a USB charging port on driver seat (1.3 Premium X and above). Exclusive to the range-topping 1.5 Advance are leather seats, a touchscreen infotainment system with Smart Link (for Android) and reverse camera.
On to safety where the new Myvi leapfrogs its competition – local and international alike, four-airbags, ABS with EBD, Vehicle Stability Control, Traction Control, Emergency Stop Signal and ISOFIX mounting points are standard on all variants. Stepping up to the 1.5 variants, it adds two additional airbags and Hill Start Assist. Only the range-topping 1.5 Advance gets the Advanced Safety Assist (ASA) and solar & security window film.
The new Perodua Myvi is impressive in every way, shape and form, with prices starting from just RM44k to RM55k.
