The new Proton eMAS 7 Premium Plus arrives with a 68.39-kWh Aegis Short Blade LFP battery that delivers a range of 450 km (WLTP). This range-topping variant offers a significant increase in range, providing 105 km more range than the Prime variant (345 km) and 40 km more than the Premium variant (410 km).
The larger battery powers the same front-mounted traction motor, which produces 218 hp and 320 Nm. This allows for 0–100 km/h in 7.4 seconds, half a second slower than the 6.9 seconds managed by the Prime and Premium variants. This slightly slower century sprint is likely due to the additional weight from the larger battery pack.
Charging specifications remain unchanged with the Proton eMAS 7 Premium Plus supporting 11 kW AC charging, requiring 7.6 hours for a full charge—slightly longer than the Premium variant’s 6.1 hours—while its 115 kW DC fast-charging capability allows for a 30–80% recharge in just 20 minutes.
Apart from the larger battery, the eMAS 7 Premium Plus also comes with dual-massage front and massaging seats, with a four-way power-adjustable front passenger seat with memory function, and an integrated passenger leg rest. The rest of the interior trimmings are the same as the Premium variant, with the Premium Plus variant featuring a 15.4-inch touchscreen infotainment system with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, alongside a 10.2-inch digital gauge cluster.
