Chery Malaysia has announced the release of the CarLinko mobile application, exclusively for owners of the Chery Tiggo 7 PHEV and Tiggo 8 PHEV.
The app is offered as a complimentary feature for owners of these two models and is available for download from the Apple App Store and the Google Play Store. For new owners, the activation and pairing of the app will be completed during the vehicle delivery process. Existing owners can activate the service by visiting an authorised Chery dealership, where the feature will be verified and securely paired with their vehicle.
Among the features offered by CarLinko are owners being able to locate their vehicle, particularly useful if you forgot where you parked, remote access to the car’s climate control system, the ability to schedule charging sessions, and access to vehicle information, such as mileage, remaining driving range, state-of-charge (SOC), and fuel level.
Additionally, owners can review past service records, check tyre pressure information, and monitor fuel consumption data.
The Chery Tiggo 7 PHEV is priced at RM129,800, while the Tiggo 8 PHEV is priced at RM159,800. Both are powered by a 1.5-litre turbocharged four-cylinder engine paired with a Dedicated Hybrid Transmission (DHT) housing a traction motor. This powertrain produces a combined output of 347 hp and 525 Nm of torque, offering a claimed combined range of up to 1,200 km.
