Alongside the new locally-assembled 2025 BMW 530i M Sport, BMW Malaysia has also announced the availability of the new 2025 BMW i4 eDrive35 M Sport. The facelifted 2025 BMW i4 eDrive35 M Sport is priced at RM315,600 on-the-road (OTR) without insurance, and inclusive of the BMW Service & Repair package.
As before, the BMW i4 eDrive35 is given the M Sport Package treatment here in Malaysia for a sportier look. Compared to the outgoing model, here’s what the new on the 2025 BMW i4 eDrive35 M Sport’s exterior:
- Redesigned kidney grilled with modern inlay design
- 19-inch aerodynamic M wheels in 996M Bicolour
- Redesigned Adaptive LED headlights with updated lighting graphics
- BMW Selective Beam technology
- Integrated laser technology for taillights
For exterior colours, you have the usual choices of Cape York Green, Fire Red, Alpine White, Mineral White, Black Sapphire. Being the M Sport version, you also have two extra choices of M Portimao Blue and M Brooklyn Grey.
Power-wise, the lithium-ion battery pack inside the 2024 BMW i4 eDrive35 M Sport still has a gross energy capacity of 70.3 kWh. The usable capacity sees a small bump at 67.1 kWh from the previous 66.0 kWh, giving it a 500 km (WLTP) range.
In addition, 180 kW DC fast charging is supported. Charging the battery pack from 10-80% takes 32 minutes, while a 10-minute charge can get you up to 182 km of range. A full charge with an 11 kW wallbox at home or in public will take approximately seven hours.
Performance figures are unchanged from before; it’s still a single motor on the rear axle, boasting an output of 286 hp (210 kW) and 400 Nm of torque. The i4 eDrive40 is rated for a 0-100 km/h time of 6.0 seconds.
On the inside, we can see a big change in the interior. New M Sport Performtex is upholstered from one end to the other with the main centrepiece being the flattened steering wheel. The three-spoke design sports a 12 o’clock marker that gives it a sportier driving vibe. A digital heads-up display projected onto the windshield gives the driver enhanced focus while driving on the road.

The new 2025 BMW i4 eDrive35 M Sport will be priced at RM315,600 on-the-road and without insurance, and inclusive of the BMW eight-year/160,000 KM Battery Warranty. The pricing is also inclusive of the BMW Service & Repair package, which comes with a five-year extended warranty and free service. If you rather have the standard two-year warranty, the 2025 BMW i4 eDrive35 M Sport is priced from RM294,800.
