SAIC Motor Malaysia aims 35 MG outlets by 2025, welcomes 5 new dealers


SAIC Motor Malaysia has announced the expansion of its MG dealer network in Malaysia, with 5 new sales outlets and 1 service outlet set to be open soon. The brand currently has 14 sales showrooms and 8 service centres nationwide.

During the preview of MG’s new internal combustion engine (ICE) models in Malaysia last week, SAIC Motor Malaysia shared that it aims to cover a total of 35 MG outlet locations nationwide. The company also welcomed new MG Dealers to its network, with new locations set to be opened in the Northern region, Klang Valley, the Southern region, and East Malaysia.

The 5 new dealers joining SAIC Motor Malaysia’s MG dealer network are:

  1. SV Auto Haus Sdn Bhd (MG Motor Puchong)
  2. YM MG Auto Sdn Bhd (MG Motor Skudai)
  3. Weststar Technics Sdn Bhd (MG Motor Juru)
  4. Auto Galery Group of Companies (MG Motor Alor Setar) – operational starting mid-September
  5. Borneoland Automobile Sdn Bhd (MG Motor Sibu & Miri) – operational starting mid-September/early-October

Currently, SAIC Motor Malaysia has the MG HS EV and the MG4 in its lineup, which are both fully electric offerings. SAIC Motor Malaysia recently previewed two of its internal combustion engine (ICE) models in Malaysia, the MG HS and the MG5, which are both set to be launched in Malaysia soon. The company has also previewed the MG Cyberster convertible EV which is also set to be launched in Malaysia by the end of 2024.
