XPeng G6 launched in Thailand – two variants, from approx. RM183k


XPeng Thailand has announced the official pricing for the XPeng G6, setting the price from 1,439,000 baht (approx. RM183k) to 1,599,000 baht (approx. RM204k). The G6 will be offered in two variants namely the Standard Range and the Long Range.

Both variants of the Xpeng G6 in Thailand are rear-wheel drive (RWD) only, although they do differ in power outputs. The entry-level Standard Range variant packs 255 hp (metric) and 440 Nm, while the Long Range gets 282 hp (metric) and 440 Nm, making it slightly quicker to complete 0-100 km/h at 6.2 seconds, compared to 6.6 seconds on the Standard Range. The top speed for both variants is limited to 202 km/h.

The Long Range variant comes with a bigger 87.5 kWh NCM battery pack, giving it a driving range of 570 km (WLTP). The Standard Range variant meanwhile has a 66 kWh LFP battery pack for a range of 435 km.

Both variants feature an 11 kW on-board AC charger. The XPeng G6 further supports fast DC charging, with the Standard Range and Long Range variants capable of accepting 215 kW and 280 kW respectively. This enables the Long Range model to recharge its larger battery in approximately 20 minutes. Vehicle-to-load (V2L) functionality is standard on both variants, capable of delivering up to 3.3 kW of power for your electrical appliances.

The XPeng G6 in Thailand offers a comprehensive range of standard features, including automatic LED headlights, a panoramic glass roof, a powered tailgate, a dual-zone climate control system with PM2.5 and pollen filters, ventilated front seats, and an 18-speaker sound system.

Interior-wise, both variants feature a modern, tech-focused interior with a large 14.96-inch central touchscreen powered by a Snapdragon 8155 processor. In addition to the functions controlled via the touchscreen, the driver also benefits from a traditional 10.2-inch instrument cluster behind the steering wheel. For added convenience, the infotainment system supports wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto connectivity.

The XPeng G6 comes equipped with the Xpilot 2.5 advanced driver assistance system, powered by an Nvidia Orin-X chip. This suite offers features like adaptive cruise control with turning support, lane centering assist, autonomous emergency braking, and automated parking, enhancing the driving experience and safety.
