Proton launches new service campaign for out-of-warranty models

National carmaker Proton has launched a new nationwide service campaign, aimed at encouraging owners of selected models to carry out routine maintenance at authorised service centres nationwide, particularly those with expired warranty coverages that may have fallen out of regular servicing.

The campaign, which will run from 30 March to 30 June 2026, is open to Proton vehicles registered between January 2018 and January 2021, whose servicing records have lapsed for more than 12 months.

Under the campaign, owners will be able to opt for a “basic service package” which includes engine oil and oil filter replacement, the relevant labour charges, as well as a complimentary 40-point safety inspection covering key areas such as brakes, tyres, and battery condition.

Prices for the basic package starts from RM120 (for semi-synthetic engine oil) for the Proton Persona, Iriz, Exora, and Saga, while service packages for the X-series models start from RM216 onwards.

Aside from affordable packages, Proton service centres also offers several initiatives to help make vehicle maintenance more efficient and convenient for owners, the company says. These include Fast Service, which promises a 90-minute turnover time for basic services, as well as the ProCare Smart Plan (PSP) that provides maintenance packages with flexible payment options.
