Porsche has unveiled the new Macan GTS as the fifth variant in the Macan Electric lineup, slotting between the 4S and Turbo variants.
The Macan GTS shares a dual-motor setup with the Turbo variant, but with lower outputs. While the Turbo can reach up to 639 hp (470 kW) and 1,130 Nm, the GTS powertrain manages 516 hp (380 kW), which can be increased to 571 hp (420 kW) and 955 Nm with launch control and overboost.
This enables a 0–100 km/h sprint in 3.8 seconds, 200 km/h in 13.3 seconds, and a top speed of 250 km/h.
Equipped with a 100 kWh battery pack, the Macan GTS has a range of 586 km (WLTP). Built on Porsche’s 800V PPE (Premium Platform Electric) platform, it can support DC charging at 270 kW, enabling a 10–80% recharge in 21 minutes. For AC charging, the Macan GTS supports 11 kW.
As a standard feature, the Macan GTS is equipped with the Sport Chrono Package, which now includes a Taycan-derived track mode. This mode increases battery cooling and minimises power loss caused by heat build-up (also known as the derating effect), optimising performance under sustained load.
The Macan GTS also gets the Sports air suspension as standard, along with traction aids like electric Porsche Traction Management (ePTM) and Porsche Torque Vectoring Plus (PTV Plus). The ePTM system, alongside an electronically controlled differential lock, helps the Macan GTS achieve a rear-biased weight distribution of 48:52.

Intriguingly, Porsche says the Macan GTS has the lowest centre of gravity in its lineup. Its engineers have tuned the sports air suspension, featuring Porsche Active Suspension Management (PASM), to sit 10 mm lower than its siblings. With variant-specific damper and roll-bar tuning, Porsche claims this provides “exceptional agility and cornering precision,” and can be further improved with the optional rear-axle steering.
The Macan GTS will also come equipped with the Porsche Electric Sport Sound (PESS), featuring two sound profiles exclusive to the variant: Sport and Sport Plus.
Although the exterior largely resembles its siblings, the Macan GTS is distinguished by unique GTS trimmings. As standard, the SUV wears 21-inch Macan Design alloy wheels in Anthracite Grey, which can be optionally upgraded to 22-inch RS Spyder Design wheels in the same finish. These are complemented by black-painted elements across the front, sides, and rear, along with tinted Matrix LED headlights and taillights.
A new Sport Design package, which includes new front and rear aprons, will be offered across the Macan lineup in early 2026. For the time being, the Macan GTS will be the first to receive it, featuring contrasting accents like black-painted side blades, wheel arch trims, and the lip of the adaptive rear spoiler.
For exterior paint colours, the Macan GTS is available with three new shades: Crayon, GTS-typical Carmine Red, and Lugano Blue, the latter available for the first time on a Macan.
These join the existing palette of 15 colours available on the configurator, but if these aren’t to your liking, you can have your Macan GTS painted via the Porsche Exclusive Manufaktur, which offers nearly 60 additional paint jobs through its Paint to Sample programme.
The Macan GTS features the standard three-display cockpit setup, comprising a 10.9-inch central infotainment touchscreen, a 10.9-inch passenger screen, and a 12.6-inch digital instrument cluster. The cluster uniquely portrays a 3D Macan GTS matching the car’s exterior colour.
Exclusive GTS trimmings include ‘GTS’ lettering featured on the instrument cluster. Functionalities offered with the Sport Chrono Package, such as lap timing, telemetry recording, and sector analysis, can be accessed via the corresponding app in the central display.
The GTS also benefits from a major update to the Macan’s infotainment system. Owners can now enjoy in-car gaming via the central infotainment and optional front passenger displays (when the car is parked, of course).
Also new is the Porsche Digital Key, which allows owners to use an iPhone, Apple Watch, or compatible Android device as a key. This system uses Near Field Communication (NFC), Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE), and Ultra-Wideband (UWB) technology to unlock the Macan.
Finally, the Macan range gets an enhanced ADAS suite. Buyers can now opt for the new Surround View assistance system, which includes Active Parking Support. The system utilises four new high-resolution cameras to provide a complete 360-degree view of the car’s surroundings.
