Leapmotor has made waves in its home market with rapid growth and strong sales, earning itself the title as China’s top-performing EV startups. Facing fierce competition in Malaysia, the brand is aiming to replicate that success with the Leapmotor C10. Updated for 2025, it is priced at just RM125,000 on-the-road without insurance, a massive RM34,000 drop from the previous model year.
This massive price drop now puts the 2025 Leapmotor C10 up against cars like the BYD Atto 3 Ultra at RM124,500 and the Proton eMAS 7 Premium at RM119,800, both prices on-the-road without insurance. And here’s the kicker: both rivals are a whole segment smaller than the C10 — talk about value for money.
Though looking mostly the same, most of the updates for the 2025 Leapmotor C10 can be found inside. Most notably, that comes in the form of a new tonneau cover for the rear luggage compartment, a motorised tyre inflator pump kit, and a new 32-litre frunk up front.
Previously, Pearly White, Canopy Grey, and Tundra Grey models came with the Midnight Aurora interior. For 2025, this has been swapped out for a black interior as standard. Want something bolder? Go for the Glazed Green colour, which comes with an exclusive Camel Brown interior. No matter the hue, though, all interiors are upholstered in Oeko-Tex silicone-based material that’s said to be “baby-friendly.”

Inside, the 14.6-inch central infotainment display and 10.2-inch digital gauge cluster remain unchanged. However, the latest LeapOS 3.40.32 over-the-air (OTA) update adds several new features, including a 360-degree camera that now doubles as a surround-view dashcam, built-in navigation with a Bahasa Melayu option, “Hi Leapmotor” voice-command mode, and QDLink smartphone screen-mirroring support.
Additionally, the update enhances steering wheel controls, giving drivers better access and customisation of ADAS (Advanced Driver-Assistance Systems) and driving modes. Distraction and fatigue monitoring have also been improved, while Adaptive Cruise Control (ACC) and Lane Centring Control (LCC) now work at speeds of up to 160 km/h with better cornering and deceleration performance.
As for what powers the car, nothing much has changed under the skin. The Leapmotor C10 maintains a front-mounted electric motor producing 218 hp (160 kW) and 320 Nm of torque, allowing for a 0-100 km/h sprint in 7.5 seconds with a top speed of 170 km/h. Power is supplied via a 69.9 kWh lithium-iron phosphate (LFP) battery that delivers up to 424 km of WLTP range.
Charging has been upgraded to support 11 kW AC (up from 6.6 kW previously) and 84 kW DC fast charging, the latter topping the battery from 30% to 80% in just 30 minutes. The car also offers vehicle-to-load (V2L) capability of up to 3.3 kW, letting owners power household appliances on the go.
The updated 2025 Leapmotor C10 is offered in a single variant, priced from RM125,000 in Malaysia. For added peace of mind, the price includes a six-year/150,000 km vehicle warranty (a four-year factory warranty plus a two-year extended warranty) along with an eight-year/160,000 km battery warranty.
