Neta Auto delivers first 50 units of Neta X at new flagship 3S showroom in Ampang

Amidst the online chatter about Malaysia’s first BEV, Neta Auto – the challenger pure EV brand from China – has now delivered the first 50 units of its Neta X mid-sized BEV SUV at its new flagship 3S showroom in Ampang.

The delivery ceremony featured various variants from the Neta X range, namely the Neta X 400 Comfort, Neta X 400 Luxury, and Neta X 500 Luxury. Positioned as a competitor to the BYD Atto3 and Chery Omoda E5, the Neta X boasts a class-leading 2,770 mm wheelbase, offering ample legroom for passengers.

Currently, the Neta X is the flagship model in Neta’s two-model lineup in Malaysia, offered alongside the budget-focused Neta V. All three variants are offered with the same single motor front-wheel drive powertrain, offering 163 hp and 210 Nm of torque. Pricing for the Neta X starts at RM119,888 in Malaysia for the base 400 Comfort variant.

Throughout October, customers who place an order for the Neta X will receive a complimentary Neta wallbox or one year of free chargEV credit. Each Neta X sold during this period also comes with complimentary maintenance for the first 40,000 km or 2 years, whichever comes first.

Neta Auto has previously confirmed that the Neta GT, which took centre stage at the marque’s booth during this year’s Malaysia Autoshow, will be launched in the country in “upgraded” form by the end of 2025.
