BMW Malaysia has announced the all-new fourth-generation BMW X3 (G45) in Malaysia during the MY BMW World 2025 event from June 13 to 15, 2025, at The Yard, Sentul Depot, Kuala Lumpur.
Available as a sole locally assembled (CKD) variant, the BMW X3 20 xDrive M Sport is estimated to be priced in Malaysia from RM349,000 on-the-road, without insurance, and inclusive of the optional BMW Service and Repair Inclusive package.
In terms of design, the fourth-generation X3 showcases Munich’s latest interpretation of its design language, now sporting sleek, angular lines reminiscent of the fully electric BMW iX and iX2, particularly in its front bumper design and tailgate.
Inside, the interior also reflects the futuristic exterior design, now featuring new trims on the front door cards. From certain angles, these really give the cabin the feeling of a spaceship.

Furthermore, you’ll find a BMW Curved Display on the dashboard, which integrates a 14.9-inch touchscreen infotainment system running on BMW Operating System 9, and a 12.3-inch digital gauge cluster, both angled towards the driver.
Powering the BMW X3 20 xDrive M Sport is a 2.0-litre turbocharged four-cylinder engine with 48V mild hybrid technology, producing 190 hp and 310 Nm of torque. Power is sent to all wheels – a first for a 20-series variant of the BMW X3 in Malaysia – via an eight-speed automatic gearbox. This setup enables the X3 20i xDrive M Sport to reach 100 km/h from a standstill in 8.5 seconds and achieve a top speed of 215 km/h.
In terms of safety systems, the BMW X3 20 xDrive M Sport is equipped with BMW’s Driving Assistant Plus suite of advanced driver assistance systems (ADAS) that includes adaptive cruise control with stop-and-go functionality, lane change warning, rear cross traffic alert, and evasion assistant.
