BMW Group Malaysia, together with dealer-partner Quill Automobiles, has unveiled a new state-of-the-art Body & Paint centre in Petaling Jaya, Selangor.
The facility boasts 15,625 square feet of workshop space, complemented by an additional 6,397 square feet of office space. It is equipped to handle a wide range of repair needs, from minor cosmetic work to advanced vehicle restoration.
Within this facility, there are 10 dedicated repair bays, two state-of-the-art spray booths, and four fully equipped preparation bays, all designed to support a seamless repair flow and quality control. There is also a dedicated mixing room and a top-of-the-line Car-O-Liner frame alignment system, ensuring real-time diagnostic accuracy to manufacturer specifications.
These facilities are managed by a team of 11 trained specialists, utilising the latest BMW-approved tools and diagnostic equipment. They provide a comprehensive range of vehicle care services, including collision repair, paint restoration, wheel refurbishment, and windshield replacement.

Furthermore, with its specialised infrastructure and technician training, the new body and paint facility is fully prepared to manage the unique demands of electric vehicle (EV) repairs, including high-voltage battery systems, carbon fibre components, and advanced material handling.
BMW Group Malaysia says the Body & Paint centre represents their approach to its “Relax. We Care.” customer support philosophy.
The “Relax. We Care.” customer support promise is powered by a suite of smart services. These include the BMW Service Promise, BMW Proactive Care, and BMW ConnectedDrive, which collectively ensure customers receive real-time vehicle diagnostics, expert technical support, and seamless service appointments via the My BMW app and in-vehicle interfaces.
This initiative is further paired with the comprehensive coverage offered through the BMW Service & Repair Inclusive (BSRI) programme. Under this, BMW owners can enjoy up to six years of service coverage and eight years of high-voltage battery warranty for EVs, complemented by 24/7 BMW Roadside Assistance.
Managing Director of BMW Group Malaysia, Benjamin Nagel, highlighted that the new body and paint facility is a physical manifestation of BMW’s dedication to providing top-tier, proactive, and comprehensive support. He stated that it aims to ensure customer satisfaction and peace of mind throughout their entire BMW ownership experience.
“Our promise to each customer under the BMW Group is a commitment to providing Sheer Driving Pleasure not just at the wheel, but throughout the entire Premium Ownership journey, extending far beyond their initial drive out of the showroom. Relax. We Care. represents our active goal to meet customer needs with proactive care, expert service, advanced connectivity, and transparent support,” he added.
In conjunction with the unveiling of the Body & Paint centre, Quill Automobiles also hosted a series of technical workshops for key partners. These sessions were led by a BMW technical and EV expert training manager, demonstrating the behind-the-scenes process of colour mixing, EV servicing, and how-tos on the latest structural diagnostic technologies.
The Quill Automobiles Body & Paint Centre is located at Lot 12, Jalan 51A/241, Seksyen 51a, 46100, Petaling Jaya, Selangor. Operation hours are between 8.30am – 5.30pm from Monday to Fridaym and 8.30am – 1.00pm on Saturday; the centre is closed on Sundays and public holidays.
