Lotus, in collaboration with the Jim Clark Trust, has unveiled the Lotus Emira Clark Edition during the Formula 1 Miami Grand Prix, in celebration of the 60th anniversary of Jim Clark’s racing achievements back in 1965.
For those unfamiliar, Jim Clark was a legendary British (Scottish) racing driver who won both the 1965 Formula 1 World Driver’s Championship and the 1965 Indianapolis 500 while driving for Lotus.
That same year, his impressive list of achievements also included championship titles in Formula 2 and the Tasman Series across Australia and New Zealand, along with victories in touring car races at the wheel of a Lotus Cortina.
Based on the Lotus Emira V6, the Emira Clark Edition features a unique paint job inspired by Clark’s 1965 Indianapolis 500-winning Lotus Type 38 race car, showcasing Clark Racing Green with a yellow racing stripe along the front.

There’s also a hand-painted yellow pinstripe adorns the Emira’s swage line, complemented by Clark Edition branding on the doors, drawing inspiration from the Clark logo used on his racing cars.
Inside, a striking interior awaits, with the driver’s seat upholstered in red leather and Alcantara, while the passenger seat is finished in black leather and Alcantara.
Special touches in the Emira Clark Edition include a sixties-style wooden gear knob and commemorative Jim Clark badging featuring Clark’s personalised tartan from Lochcarron, Scotland.
Each Lotus Emira Clark Edition will also feature numbered carbon fibre door sill plates. Furthermore, each customer purchasing this special Lotus Emira will also receive a bespoke, hand-crafted leather travelling bag with unique Clark Edition details.
The Lotus Emira Clark Edition is powered by a 3.5-litre supercharged V6 engine producing 406 hp and 420 Nm of torque, paired with a six-speed manual gearbox. This enables a 0-100 km/h sprint in 4.2 seconds and a top speed of 290 km/h.
Keen to own this special Lotus? Prices for the Lotus Emira Clark Edition start at GBP115,000 (approx. RM642k) in the UK. But you’ll need to be quick, as only 60 units will be produced for selected markets.
