At the launch of the Denza D9 fully electric (EV) MPV yesterday, Denza Malaysia also announced a new cross-border warranty programme for its vehicles, offering coverage for its vehicles across Malaysia, Singapore, and Thailand.
The new cross-border programme is applicable on top of the standard local warranty for the vehicle, which offers coverage of eight years or 160,000 km for the vehicle pack; eight years or 150,000 km for the drive motor and motor controller, as well as a six-year/150,000 km vehicle warranty.
Not much has been revealed in actual details just yet, but Denza assures that the programme will offer customers full transparency and reasonable pricing. Customers can enjoy local service charges without any hidden fees, so you’ll know exactly what you’re paying for. Plus, you get perks like roadside assistance, and top-notch customer service in all three countries.
With the cross-border warranty, your vehicle’s servicing data will also will be accessible across Denza service centres in the region, which means the technicians will know about the status of the car and offer precise follow-up services, no matter which country you’re in.
So, if you’re on a cross-country road trip in one of those countries and unfortunately experience a breakdown with your Denza, you can simply head over or to the nearest Denza dealer for assistance. No need to stress about finding a random workshop or paying exorbitant fees, and you’ll know that your car is cared for according to the highest standards, using only genuine parts.

Denza’s first model in Malaysia, the all-electric (EV) MPV Denza D9, was launched yesterday in two variants: Advanced and Premium, with prices starting at RM259,000 on-the-road, without insurance.
As a luxury EV MPV, the Denza D9 is packed with premium features. These include two sunroofs, captain’s chairs in the second row with integrated 5.5-inch screens with 1.08 meters of adjustability, and—get this—a 6.8-litre fridge in the centre console that operates between -6 to 50 degrees Celsius.

The Advanced variant of the Denza D9 is powered by a front-mounted electric motor delivering 313 hp and 360 Nm, reaching 100 km/h from a standstill in 9.5 seconds. It has an NEDC range of 600 km.
The Premium variant gains an additional rear motor for a combined output of 374 hp and 470 Nm, with a slightly reduced range of 580 km (NEDC). This translates to a faster 0-100 km/h time of 6.9 seconds.
Both variants utilise a 103.36 kWh Blade lithium iron phosphate (LFP) battery pack. DC fast charging at 166 kW enables a 30-80% charge in just 30 minutes, while 10 minutes of charging can add 150 km of range. AC charging is supported at 11 kW.
