The most notable change on the new 2025 Honda Civic facelift is seen on the outside. The new facelift now sports a more aggressive-looking front bumper and omits the foglights for a sleeker look. More importantly, the new design up front also resolves the “large forehead” look that have turned some people off.
To back up its first impressions from the more aggressive front bumper aesthetics, the 2025 Honda Civic facelift (E, V, RS variants) keeps its 1.5-litre turbocharged engine with 182 hp and 240 Nm of torque, together with continuously variable transmission (CVT).
If you want a more polar icecap-friendly option, the Civic e:HEV RS has a 2.0-litre naturally-aspirated engine with two electric motors that churns out a little more horsepower and a lot more torque at 184 hp and 315 Nm for easier uphill climbs – all while saving fuel. The e:HEV hybrid engine is mated with an e-CVT gearbox.
For those who revolve their entire day-to-day in the Google ecosystem, the standard-fit nine-inch infotainment display now comes with Google Built-in, with Google Maps, Google Assistant, and Google Play Store on offer – the latter to install more apps. Wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto is available, too.
Rounding off the tech features that aren’t Google-related, the Civic facelift has advance driver assistant systems (ADAS) that is chock full of safety functions. This includes Low Speed Follow (LSF) and Adaptive Cruise Control (ACC) to keep it from colliding or rear-ending other cars, bikes, motorcycles, and pedestrians.

All this is wrapped up with the E variant starting at RM133,900, V variant at RM144,900, and the RS variant at RM149,900 for the petrol-only 1.5-litre turbo options. The RS e:HEV variant with the 2.0-litre e:HEV powertrain, meanwhile, goes on sale for RM167,900. All prices are on-the-road, and without insurance.
