Jetour set for Malaysia invasion with 20 service and sales outlets planned nationwide


Alongside the announcement that the Jetour Dashing will be launched in Malaysia by Q1 2025, Jetour International, Vice President, Kevin Xu also announced that the company will be establishing over 20 service outlets nationwide, including Sabah and Sarawak. 

These will include more than 10 4S and 3S centres, slated to open in Q1 2025. New showrooms will also be established nationwide in Selangor, Penang, Ipoh, Seremban, Melaka, Johor, Sabah, and Sarawak.

“With our expanding network of service outlets and comprehensive support infrastructure, we are committed to ensuring accessibility and reliability for our customers,” Xu said.

Xu also shared that the company will launch the Jetour 7-seater SUV soon after the Jetour Dashing, the former will be launched locally under a new name.

The Jetour 7-seater SUV is powered by a 1.5-litre turbocharged engine producing 156 hp and 230 Nm. This is paired with a six-speed dual-clutch transmission, sending power to the front wheels.

Based on the preview during last year’s Malaysia Autoshow 2024, the Jetour 7-seater SUV will be available in two variants: Prime and Signature. Both variants will reportedly be available as seven-seaters.
